Ad spend and what it brings back

By week and by platform, your ad spend sits next to what it booked, and the return is shown both ways. The simulator below runs the same math on your own numbers.

Spend by week and platform

Spend goes in by the week, one line per platform: Google Ads, Google LSA, Meta and TikTok. Each week gets a card on the Ads screen with those four rows, what was booked and the ratio. The month table carries both return-on-ad-spend (ROAS) numbers.

How return is figured

Booked sales divided by spend is the first, the one the portal writes as $4.11 booked for every $1 of ads. The second divides the monthly revenue you report by the same spend.

The simulator below says it the same way. Move the sliders and both lines update as you go. The math runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.

Google spend comes in by itself

The Google Ads and Google LSA rows fill themselves in, from our manager account or from an account you connected under Connections. Meta and TikTok you enter by hand. The first week with any spend on it also moves your stage to Ads live.

If you would rather hand the ads to us, we run Google Ads and Google Local Services for shops that want that.

Then, what a customer cost

The weekly card answers one question: what did this week's spend book. The Attribution page takes the same spend further and sets it against the customers who paid, source by source, then gives two figures for the whole shop, blended and ad-only. This card stays beside it.

About the Ads screen

Who runs the ads?

Shops that pick Ads at the join link hand them to us. A shop that keeps its own Google Ads connects the account instead, and its spend still lands on the Ads screen.

Which number is the return?

Both lines. In the sample week above, $600 spent and $2,468 booked comes out at $4.11 booked for every $1 of ads; the second line swaps in the month's reported revenue.

Why does a week show nothing yet?

Google Ads came through, and the week is waiting on Meta and TikTok. Once those are in the card fills, so the ratio is never half a week. Which rows fill themselves is above.
